Sheila Hicks

A legendary fiber artist, specialising in textiles who is also a lecturer. I discovered her in a wallpaper magazine a few months ago, so here are some scans for your eye-pies.

everything i've seen of hers is so beautiful, i find it very hard to get away with the use of pink and purples such as the above images without it looking too twee, i'd love to have some workshops with her, maybe contact her through uni or do a placement with her in paris!
not i plan on being a purely prolific textile artist after graduation.
