my fur coat was starting to look a bit sorry for itself, i bought it second hand and wore it for two winters so i decided to experiment because i love the coloured fur trend from last year.
I used acid dyes from school, not shop-bought dye like dylon. I may as well throw all my dylon away because i now have access to something a hundred times better.
Ive given it a few coats of dye but just like human hair, the lighter parts absorb the dye much easily so it will always be patchy. I could bleach it but it's malting so much already.
I gave it its first rinse after trying to steam it at home, i just think blue wet fur is the most interesting texture.
I've just finished my first week interning at Peter Pilotto, having been in a similar environment last year at Mother of Pearl i felt at home by the second day.
