RCA Show - Design Interactions - Clemens Winkler

One of my favourite things that I saw at the Royal College of Art 2013 Show other than the Textiles was the Design Interactions student's work.
I loved how playful and conceptual each individual student's ideas were,
one of Clemens Winkler's projects on display which caught my eye reminded me of my last project of this academic year, in the way that he had looked at 'Fictional Materials', chemical visualisations, in this instance 'Mutable Drugs'.
His question being 'What will be the future of drug delivery through mutating materials?'
Focusing on how medicine will need to adapt and react quickly to highly developed germs, the idea is to create medicines that are triggered by the patient's particular physical condition, to react where and when specifically necessary.
These visuals have reminded me how much fun playing with chemistry can be.
