Agatha Haine's work also demanded my attention at the RCA 2013 show, working with sculpture similar to special effects work in film making, this project was about Circumventive Organs, or ideas in Bioprinting.
The concept being Bioprinting on the level of creating new hybrid organs, which are created for very specific reasons. Their aim is to prevent death, in a similar way to heart transplants.
I find any kind of sculpture that's a visualisation of the future, or something that's familiar but not yet 'invented' fascinating. I also just enjoy the colours and textures of the above photo, turquoise flesh red and thick liquids.
